3 Growth Hacking Tools For Any Startup
In the last 30 or so days, I’ve been beta testing some pretty neat tools made by some of my marketing buddies and even helped develop one! The tools I’m about to mention are simple, yet powerful and nearly anyone can benefit, which is what makes them so great.
First up, FAQFox.
FAQFox allows the user to search the web for relevant conversations regarding a specific topic. It’s great for research and coming up with content ideas for buyer persona’s. A must have tool for any digital marketer/growth hacker!
FAQFox was created by Julian True Flynn.
Next, we have WikiGrabber.
WikiGrabber is the tool for anyone looking to do Wikipedia link-building from citations and dead links. It’s also great for contributors who may have had a hard time searching through the vast database. WikiGrabber allows you to input a specific keyword and only pull results with that keyword in them. If you’re doing SEO, I don’t see why you wouldn’t take advantage of this bad ass tool.
WikiGrabber was developed by Austin Lilley of Growth Addict.
Finally, we have SSLSwitch.
SSLSwitch is a tool for SEO’s that analyzes the top 1000 Alexa sites to see which have switched to SSL. Since Google’s announcement that the https:// protocol (SSL certification) is now a ranking signal and that they are working towards a safer internet, it is interesting to see how the big sites and companies are responding. The tool will show you the date the site was updated and if they have switched to SSL, it’ll show you the date they switched.

If you have any questions regarding these tools, feel free to get in touch with any of the developers or myself. Happy Growth Hacking!
